Gala Games cannot sustain P2E, and you should understand what is going on.

The FUD Files: Gala Games Stops P2E on Town Star

By Hamminy | cryptoinvesting | 8 Sep 2022

It seems my expose on Gala Games has need of an addendum more quickly than expected.

Gala Games' premier P2E game, Town Star, is no longer giving rewards to node owners. That's right — they just stopped.

The excuse? The company admitted they hadn't come up with a system that was sustainable to itself yet. It is possible they would have been able to continue paying out rewards, and they gave no real criteria as to their definition of sustainable. Could be they want a 200% margin, and anything below that is considered "unsustainable" to them. They don't tell. There are no details offered, and you won't get any if you ask.

Could this contagion move up to Founder's Nodes? There's no reason why not. I, for one, would not continue to help this company with my computing power should those rewards stop. It remains to be seen whether Town Star node owners will continue to provide their computing power for no rewards.

And let's talk a bit about the notion that node owners should be happy to provide resources for free, just to be a part of the "new future." What the FUCK. I'm a decentralization maxi, and I don't even believe this shit. If you're early in this crypto game, you should get rich if the team gets rich, because you are taking just as much risk. Maybe more, because YOU sure aren't getting any of that VC money the team is surviving on.

Let's keep the pressure on these companies, because if they want to expose you to risk like never before, the rewards should be commensurate with that risk.
