We've got a bunch of old fuckwits running world finances — people who don't seem to understand that lying only makes a situation worse. Fed Chair Jerome Powell made false statements about the health of the US economy today and tanked the market. In an attempt to cover his own ass by fudging unemployment and business numbers to the upside, he spooked investors into thinking he was going to take away the only thing that is really holding up this market — free Fed money.
News flash, idiot. You jinglefucks have fucked up the US economy so much that good news actually tanks the market. First, the market knows it's a lie. They may not express the sentiment this way, but that's what it boils down to. You're stuck. So just keep giving out that free money across the board until you devalue yourself into your natural state, irrelevance.
Crypto, STILL, for some reason, is connected to risk-on stocks. The entire crypto market still trades like a NASDAQ stock on steroids. I blame the selfish speculators that I wish this market didn't need to succeed.
As it is, that's not the world we have. So the best thing is to follow my advice from the last article about how I'm dealing with the ETH dumpster fire and apply that to all of your crypto plays. Simple strategies work best. This is a dip to buy, but just realize it may last longer than you think. Tax season is coming up, and that's just another excuse for stupid idiots in the US to fuck up the market. If we can survive through early April, we should see some light at the end of the tunnel come late April and May. That is, of course, unless Powell or Janet Ol' Yeller Yellen decide to pop up and say something stupid again.
