I guess since the African nations under your colonial umbrella are telling you to go shove it on the tribute payments, you have to make sure all the domestic smart money doesn't move offshore. It would be smart to do so, because France has been a zombie economy fooooor...basically its entire existence. 

In its attempt to show muscle, France will unknowingly legitimize bitcoin in the eyes of skeptics. Once everyone realizes that France (and no nation) has the ability to force KYC or anything on crypto users, people will pile in. They'll learn about Monero and Zcoin. They'll learn that Ethereum is building a worldwide bank. It will showcase in broad daylight government's impotence to really stop anything about crypto.

What's more, the French business class will soon come down hard on the government for stopping the flow of trade to and from France. As business moves into crypto, French entrepreneurs will be left behind. They'll end up destroying the economy because the business class will move money offshore anyway.

So thanks, you idiot Macron. You've been one of the worst leaders Europe has ever seen, and one of the most two-faced. He looks young and progressive, but he's actually just a tool for bankers like everyone else.
