Good day everyone,
I hope you are all well and are had an excellent week, welcome to CryptoGod-1’s blog on all things crypto. Today I will be looking at the latest news from the Trump camp in terms of his NFTs, as the former President has now launched his second NFT collection.
NFT Collection Announcement
The success of Donald Trump's first NFT collection was well documented, with the collection netting him a cool million dollars in profit. Now the former President is back with another collection of NFT cards, launched on the 18th of April 2023.
The second collection was announced via Trump’s social media platform Truth Social, while there were also posts on Twitter to announce the collection. The NFTs follow the same style and premise as the first collection did, with the president depicted on the cards in a variety of scenarios and professions.
Just like with the first collection, which released in December 2022, each NFT costa an initial price of $99 although the new collection has already been sold out! Similar to the first release, some of the NFTs will be unique and one of a kind, while other will be produced in sets of no more than ten copies.
This collection contains a staggering 47,000 NFTs which are all upon the Polygon blockchain. With this series also selling out, similar to how the first one did, many are prediction similar success in secondary markets. The NFTs have a 10% royalty fee included, meaning any secondary sales will see Trump net 10% of the fee.
Customers who purchase 47 of the cards, or $4,653 dollars worth, will be in with the chance of winning a dinner with the former president. Trump announced this in his Truth Social platform, where he stated:
“I am pleased to inform you that, due to the great success of my previously launched digital trading cards, we are doing it again, Series 2, available right now.”
Trump also noted how he kept the initial card prices the same as in his first NFT launch, even though he feels he could have raised the prices and still seen them sell out. How kind and thoughtful of him lol.
“I hope everyone notices, [and] I’m sure the fake news won’t, that I’m leaving the price of the trading cards the same as last time, even though they are selling for many times more (it’s called the market!), [and] sold out almost immediately, because I want my fans [and] supporters to make money, [and] have fun doing it. I could have raised the price much higher, [and] I believe it still would have sold well, with a lot more money coming to me, but I didn’t choose to do so. I will be given no ‘nice guy’ credit?”
Below are some example of how the new collection looks:

First Collection Floor Price Crashes
The original NFT collection from Trump did quite well all things considered, and although many were quick to mock the NFTs, they made trump a nice bit of money. The original series had been trading at around 0.42 ETH (about $835) on April the 18th 2023, but their floor price has now crashed to around 0.185 ($355) ETH since the newest batch was released and the market has been flooded with the new NFTs.

Taking into considering the fact the amount of NFTs available in the collection has shot up towards 47,000 with the latest drop, the floor price crashing around 50% is bound to have shook those who invested in the originals. However, if the success of the newest drop follows that of the first one, then it is likely that the price will continue to rise and more and more NFTs become available on the market. Only time will tell of course, but never say never when it comes to Trump and his NFT collection.

Have a great day and enjoy your week ahead.
