The cryptocurrency newsletter Milk Road was founded by Shaan Puri and Ben Levy in January 2022. The aim of the newsletter is to make the often confusing world of crypto more accessible to the average person. The company started as a newsletter that explained crypto in plain English but it has since grown to include over 250,000 readers within its first year.
Milk Road was initially just about breaking down the information into a more readable and user friendly format, but it has since grown to a level where it aims to provide even more comprehensive coverage of the cryptocurrency space. Milk Road now offer a range of tools, calculators, and data-driven content which can be used by readers to help make sense of the ongoings in the crypto space while also assisting them to capitalise on it in the process.
The company consider themselves a space where not only is a daily cryptocurrency newsletter provided, but also a website, and social media presence providing tools, information, and news regarding the current going-ons in the crypto space. Their mission is presented as follows:
Founder of Milk Road, Shaun Puri, is an entrepreneur, investor, and Senior Director of Product, Mobile Gaming & Emerging Markets at Twitch. He found success when he created the company Bebo, an esports tournament platform that got acquired by Twitch at $25M after a bidding war with Discord. He built four startups and been the CEO of three, while he also has a podcast called “My First Millions,” in which he converses with some of the biggest founders and entrepreneurs.
Back in late 2022 Milk Road was sold, and one of the key factors in the sale was the opportunity to work with Kendall Saville and Michael Wittmeyer, who both have a proven track record in building and selling successful companies. Puri saw the potential for the company to achieve even greater success under the guidance and leadership of both Kendall and Michael, while he also felt their expertise and experience in the business world would be invaluable in taking Milk Road to the next level. Shaan retained a a minority stake in Milk Road and fully believes it will be worth significantly more in the future due to Kendall and Michael's involvement in the company.

Kendall and Michael have both had significant experience in building and selling successful businesses and they stand by their shared philosophy on the importance of learning from failure. They have been known for their ability to identify and solve problems in innovative ways. Milk Road sold with 250,000 subscribers less than a year after its creation and is still going strong to this day.
