Circle and Binance Partner
The global cryptocurrency exchange Binance have announced a partnership with Circle to adopt USDC as a key component of its corporate treasury. Circle are the stablecoin provider for USDC and Binance are one of the world's largest and most recognised crypto exchanges, meaning their partnership with aim to expand the adoption of the dollar-backed stablecoin USDC and digital asset adoption.
A joint announcement was made by the firms in which Circle noted they will support Binance through providing critical technology, liquidity, and other tools to maximize the benefits of USDC for Binance users. The two companies have also agreed to forge new relations with mainstream financial and commercial companies to promote the use of stablecoins.
This will be a collaboration between two giants within crypto as they look to accelerate the integration of blockchain-based financial services while also growing the role of stablecoins within the global economy. Circle have roughly 240 million users, which means there is a huge growth potential to scale USDC’s utility. This latest alliance notes how Binance will integrate USDC into its suite of products and services.
Jeremy Allaire, Chairman and CEO of Circle, stated:

With Binance rapidly becoming the world’s leading financial super app, this partnership represents a tremendous opportunity for USDC as it becomes ubiquitous on their platform.”
Stablecoins like USDC continue to prove their utility as a bridge between traditional finance and the blockchain ecosystem and this partnership will look to put both Circle and Binance at the forefront of global innovation. Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, stated:
“USDC is one of the most preeminent products in the world. Our users will have even more opportunities to use USDC, including new trading pairs and promotions.”
