Chainers has its own page in our games catalog, and you can compare it with every other title in our ranked list of crypto games.
What you earn and how: Chainers is free-to-play with optional purchases, and it costs nothing to start in the browser. Harvesting crops on Chainer’s Farm earns the in-game currency CFB. One player reports, as of 2026-10-18, that harvests pay tiny amounts of CFB that cannot be cashed out and only buy store items, while corn, trout and certain plots cost real money. Mini-games award Game Points that count toward leaderboard currency rewards. As of 2026-10-18, the Streams shooter is free once a day with a prize above 8,000 points. Surveys and offers pay USDs, which can be spent on Chainers purchases. Season 6 event missions included earning 100 CFP through surveys (as of 2026-10-31), and the event’s progression rewards included ghosts, XP, fertilizers, food and dark tree seeds.
How we researched this review
This is a research-based review, not a play log: nobody on our team claims hours in Chainers here. We read our catalog entry, 2 official pages, the whitepaper and docs, the official gameplay guides and store listings, 8 forum or blog pages, the public Telegram, Discord and X channels, the official update history and news coverage (read on 2026-11-03). Every price, count and size in this review carries the date of its own reading where the source gives one. Forum posts, community chats and docs pages often carry no date: those sources are undated, and each one is linked where we use it so you can check it yourself.

Chainers at a glance, as of 4 Nov 2026.
What is Chainers?
Chainers is a free-to-start MMO that runs in a web browser. It’s built around a farming simulator, with mini-games, missions and live events on top. It mixes casual, mining, MMO and simulation play.
Chainers’ home chain is Immutable X, and it also runs on Ethereum and Polygon. The game has three external currencies (POL, BNB and CHU) and three internal ones (CHU, POL and CFB). Rewards go to a public Chainers ID, which is not a wallet address.
Chainers works on any device with an internet connection and needs no download or install. An AR mode lets you play the world through a phone camera. In the farm, you claim a free Booster, plant seeds, fertilize the crops and harvest them for in-game currency, then put that currency back into a bigger farm. Players who create and share assets are paid in the in-game CFB.
Chainers is live. On its homepage, the game claims more than 1 million players, over 1.8 million in daily activity and more than $200,000 in total player rewards. Split across a million players, that $200,000 comes to very little per person.
Gameplay experience
Chainers is a farming and crafting game first. You plant, feed, merge and deposit on an isometric voxel farm, and a short top-down shooter and a slot-style mini-game sit on the side. A session runs on growth timers and daily tasks. eGamers describes it as a browser MMO in which players create characters, farm, craft, explore and battle across PvE and PvP.
How a match plays
You start on an island map. White clouds roll over it as the view changes to your farm page. The farm is an isometric voxel plot with wooden fences, small animals, planted grid plots and a row of tool icons along the top.
You plant seeds in planters and raise animals such as chickens, goats, bees and otters. Crops are turned into animal food, and animals produce nothing unless they are fed. Normal seeds come back after harvest. Seeds marked with a triangle are single-use.
Growth runs in real time. Common sugarcane needs eight hours, and the legendary otter feed takes about ten. A Farm Bot panel takes seed and feed icons from an inventory sorted by rarity, and it has an energy bar with a Charge button.
Crafting happens in the Workshop. You pick a recipe such as Basil Deer Food, set a quantity slider and press an orange Merge button, and a pixel-art merging machine animation follows. Items combine two into one to climb from common to uncommon, rare, epic and legendary, so one legendary item takes sixteen base items.
A cycle ends at the Reward Pool, where you move harvested items from an inventory grid into a deposit area. Your harvest turns into in-game currency, and staying in the reward loop means completing daily activities and taking part in every distribution cycle.
Modes
Chainer’s Farm is the main mode. Its lake land adds otters and sugarcane, and its water tiles can’t hold the plots or animals from the rest of the farm, which calls for a different layout.
Chainers Dreams is a top-down shooter in a small arena where CFB turns into points, played as runs of rising difficulty that end with a third run needing 1,500 points. You only move up a level after you meet the previous run’s conditions, and surviving with the required points pays out CFB, boosters and cards.
Atom Caster is mostly a press-a-button slot machine. It shares the game hub with the farm and shooter tiles and a coming-soon tile.
Live events add a reward track with chest icons next to Leaderboard and Tasks panels. The Longest Night, the final Season 6 event, combined a progression event, a mission event and a Gleam event built around ghosts, cauldrons and a dark tree.
Progression and difficulty
Plots are the main upgrade. The Workshop lists plot types such as wood, plastic, metal and stone, each with stat bars and a buy button. Higher-rarity plots double the harvest step by step from one up to sixteen and have a crit chance for double crops, so your limited seeds go into your best container.
Event levels also come from merging. In The Longest Night you gained levels by merging items such as ghosts into higher rarities, with milestones at levels 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30. The harvest pumpkin climbed one step at a time: two commons plus fertilizers made an uncommon. Missions asked for a daily login, using 100 fertilizers, feeding a legendary ghost and putting legendary sap into three whirlpools. Spooky cauldron seeds were needed for the ghosts, the new pufferfish and the dark tree, and that made them the main bottleneck.
Not every crop merges. When the lake land arrived in July 2026, common sugarcane used reusable seeds and could not be merged or boosted with fertilizer or lamps.
Outside events, missions sit under daily and weekly tabs, and a calendar grid hands out daily rewards. The season pass puts gold and free reward columns along a numbered track, next to missions with progress bars. The character you customise in the Hub is the hero of every mini-game, and mini-game play earns Game Points for a leaderboard that pays extra currency. Extra rounds cost CFB, and Dreams gives a special reward for the first win each day.
Controls and platforms
Chainers runs in the browser on any internet-connected device and uses a voxel-based design. On the farm’s angled overhead camera, you place square tiles and items such as otter food straight onto the pond, and a small popup panel appears at the bottom. Dreams switches to a top-down view with direct movement and shooting.
Getting started
You play Chainers at chainers.io. There is nothing to download or install and no entry fee, and the Play Now button leads to free in-game items for new players. Inside the farm, you claim your first Booster for free, which gives you the resources to set up the farm. More Boosters are for sale in the in-game store in the HUB.
You don’t have to bring a crypto wallet. Crypto Earn Games reported that Chainers offers instant logins and a built-in wallet.
The free path is the starter Booster, daily rewards and an offerwall of game offers and surveys that pays in-game currency. On the paid side, a Timewall page sells in-game currency by credit card in US dollars, and the shop sells bundles such as a pumpkin booster bundle. Season Pass V3, branded Tranquil Waters, went live at $29.99, a price eGamers reported would last only until August 2, 2026. One Trustpilot reviewer put the spending side bluntly: “Remember: It’s not an investment. It’s just an expensive game.”
Graphics, art and sound
Art style and world
The world map is a colourful isometric island viewed from an angled top-down camera. Green fields, roads, small buildings and blue location pins sit inside a ring of sea.

Chainers game artwork.
The farm is drawn in blocky voxels, with soil plots, green sprouts, wooden fences and small blocky characters. Floating icon bubbles sit above them. Updates add new scenery as well as new mechanics.
The setting is the planet Chainerys, home to a creative society whose yearly festival of inventions is the Game of Arts. Its villain, Big Eye, is an outcast engineer who builds a mechanical eye and raises a hidden army of engineered Perfects.
Seasons bring their own themes. Season 1, Neo Drifters, filled the shop with cyberpunk-style outfits and limited outfit collections.
Interface and menus
Much of the interface is task tracking. All missions sit in one window with Daily, Event, Weekly, Monthly and Task Wall tabs, and each task has its own progress bar and GO button. Events such as The Longest Night open as purple and pink popups over the dimmed map, each with its own task list. Tournaments get a purple screen with a chest reward track, a leaderboard and a task column.
Economy and earning reality
Most of what Chainers pays out is CFB. As of October 2026, CFB is an in-game currency that can’t be cashed out and only buys store items, while some items, such as corn, trout and certain plots, cost real money.
How the farm pays
Harvests turn into in-game currency that you put back into the farm to expand it. Chainers also pays CFB as a reward for player creativity and contributions.
Crops and animals produce bio points. Animal products give more bio points than raw harvest. Cows cost more resources than birds and return more, so the farm rewards players who can feed bigger production chains.
Bio points are donated into tiered reward pools that pay out every four hours, and you compete only with players in your own pool. Pools pay in CFB or BNB, and players move between them during the day depending on which pool looks better. Your payout is a share of a pool, and the size of that share depends on who else is in it.
Task wall, passes and paid extras
Most of the internal currency comes from a task wall of surveys, games and offers. The same wall feeds weekend events and tournaments that award land plots, ghosts and crop-speed lights.
Through TokenStorm you can earn free USDs by completing surveys, app installs and partner games. One USDs is worth 1 USDT, and you spend it on Chainers purchases. TokenStorm sets its own processing fee, which appears before you confirm a purchase.
Some season pass rewards can only be claimed by players who own the pass. The Gleam event gives extra rewards to players who spend above a set amount. Event offers sell seeds, and boosters give a chance at the harvest pumpkin seed, fertilizers or CFP. A July 2026 mission event rewarded daily log-ins, sugarcane planting and special-offer purchases with common, uncommon or rare plots, but land and pass purchases didn’t count.

Chainers has large follower counts, but far fewer people are active at any one time. The Chainers Universe Discord server had 131,569 members as of November 4, 2026, and 2,471 of them were online when read. That is 2.3% of the server.

Chainers community size as of 4 Nov 2026, read from the public channels.
Channel sizes and activity
It posts often: all 20 of its latest posts went up in the previous 30 days.
Chainers runs a steady schedule of events. Season 6, Witching Hour, ran from October 6 to November 3, 2026, and its Golden Pass was 25% off for the first six days. A story event called The Grass Remembers followed from November 3 to 6, 2026. October 2026 also had three events:
a Haunted Tournament that closed on October 20
a GAM3S.GG tie-in that gave a bundle to anyone who finished 10 missions
a Halloween giveaway paying out Ghosts and CFB
Big Chainers events draw far more players than the Discord’s online count. NFT Playgrounds reported that a month-long leaderboard event on Immutable Play was “already attracting crowds of more than 25,000 participants”.
What players say and how Chainers answers
On Trustpilot, Chainers has a TrustScore of 4.2, rated Great, from 581 reviews. The harshest criticism there is about cost, led by one reviewer’s warning that this is an expensive game.
Chainers answers reviews on Trustpilot. A review posted October 18, 2026 got a reply from Chainers on October 22, 2026, which opened with “Hey there, Chainer!” That four-day reply is the only developer response players can see in public. All of the other visible developer activity is one-way announcements.
Roadmap and current status
Chainers is live and its update pace is picking up. It logged 13 dated updates and news items in the 12 months to November 3, 2026, against 1 in the 12 months before, which puts it on a growing trajectory. It runs in the browser on Immutable X, with Ethereum and Polygon also listed. The official site also offers a play in AR mode option. Chainers is #59 on our ranked list of crypto games as of November 4, 2026.
The 2025 roadmap and what shipped
Chainers’ Immutable tie-in went live on November 24, 2025, when eGamers reported new quests and a leaderboard on Immutable Play paying 5,000 USDT and 50,000 CFB to the top 200 players. On December 9, 2025, 51 Games opened an exclusive CHU token sale for Chainers ecosystem participants, and CFB stayed the main utility token for regular play.
A year of farm events
Most of Chainers’ 2026 activity is live events built on the farm. The first Season Pass, Peacock Domination, ran May 19 to June 29, 2026. Bees arrived with The Survivor Swarm from August 6 to 9, 2026. The latest event, Spirits Unleashed, runs October 29 through November 3, 2026, and adds Pufferfish crafting recipes up to Legendary.
Chainers’ growth work also runs outside the game. A KGeN player acquisition campaign puts a leaderboard for new players on the KGeN platform and targets Asia and India.
The farm itself dates to 2024, when HodlFM covered the launch of the NFT Farm, the farming game that the 2026 events build on. In the same year Chainers Arena went into a playtest, and Cointrust reported that the team planned to prepare the official launch of Chainers Arena at a later date.
Risks
The biggest risk in Chainers is a token that has not launched. CFB has no fixed route into CHU, and none of the terms for that switch have been set.
No token allocation, supply or vesting schedule for CHU is published, so a future holder has no way to see how much of the supply the team or early backers would get.
Technology and ownership
Chainers runs on Immutable X, but its own technical claims come with little detail. Token-Play’s look at those claims concluded: “On the available evidence, Chainers’ scalability is unproven.” It found that player ownership is a stated feature, but the game never says which assets players own, how they move between accounts, or whether ownership is enforced fully on-chain.
Chainers has given no clear answer on how much of a paid item sits in your wallet and how much stays on its own servers.
Who builds it and who pays for it
The company page on Trustpilot lists Cyprus as its location and [email protected] as its contact.
No funding round for Chainers is on public record, and no backers are named. With no audit report or token documents published either, the case for trusting the economy rests on the studio’s own word and on how it runs each season.
Chainers alternatives
Comparable games on our ranked list: Axie Infinity, Pixels and The Sandbox. Chainers sits at #59. Each one’s page has its genre, chain, token and current status side by side with this one.
Verdict: is Chainers worth your time?
Chainers suits players who want a free browser farm with a new event almost every week. It’s a poor fit for anyone after income. The game is in its busiest stretch so far, and a new progression event, The Grass Remembers, runs from November 3 to November 6, 2026.
eGamers reported that the Spirits Unleashed tournament ran from October 29 through November 3, 2026. It added pufferfish recipes up to Legendary and put players in tier-based rooms of 10 to 50. Chainers update dates show the team is shipping more often than it did a year earlier.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Chainers suits patient players who enjoy planting, feeding and merging. You claim your first farm booster for free, and the farm runs in a desktop browser or in a portrait mobile layout. Reward pools pay out every four hours, and you only compete against players in your own pool.
Skip Chainers if you want cash. Harvests pay small amounts of CFB, which stays inside the game, and the main way to earn more internal currency is a task wall of surveys, games and offers. Spending also earns extra event rewards: the Season 6 Gleam event gave more to players who spent above a set amount.
What would move the score
The CHU token would move the score most. AirdropBuzz wrote that CFB may still be exchangeable for CHU after launch, while the TGE, conversion rate, eligibility formula and claim date were all TBA. Published conversion terms would raise the score. Events that put more rewards behind paid bundles would lower it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay in Chainers with a credit card?
Yes. Tokenstorm is a third-party payment system that takes credit and debit cards in the Chainers shop. Tokenstorm may charge a processing fee, and the fee is shown before you confirm the purchase.
Which tokens does Chainers use?
Chainers has a dual-token model. CHU is planned for deposits, withdrawals, staking and trading on exchanges once it launches.
Who makes Chainers?
Chainers is developed by 51 Games (styled 51.games), which press material around the CHU token describes as a studio dedicated to making Web3 games actually playable. The contact details on the game’s review profile list Cyprus and the support address [email protected].
