Energy Information Administration in USA has been collecting the data of the power usage in the data centres. And they were monitoring the usage of the energy for the mining and the crypto servers. And that has made them have enough data to shut the data canters and the servers down eventually. And this usage was reported to the govt. So it was kind of bad on the terms of privacy and the data collection part too.
Texas blockchain council and RIA has managed to put on the industrial lawsuit on such EIA agency. And they managed to win the lawsuit too. So the temporary order of closure on the data collection has been possible. And also the notice and comment process has been issued on the EIA.
What does this news mean for the Texas and in general any state in United States? What it would do to them? What they are planning on doing? They worked on the lawsuit and managed to win. You may notice that it would be applicable in the Texas as of now. And also the new change is going to do temporary restrain order. So they are going to be fighting this for a long time. And this means the war is far from over.
There would be FBI, CIA and other organizations doing the legal cases to get back their hands on the data of the users.
