Soneium is a new blockchain from the Sony group. And it has launched it's testnet and mainnet and went live recently. And now tehy are getting the new apps and the partners to gain the use case for the web3 and the gaming ecosystem. Considering Sony has a big platform and the brnad that has contributed to the game IPs. 

Transak has announced that they are offering the in game onramp service for the Soneium chain based web3 apps and the games. And the further internal support for the apps and games would be offered too. 

Transak works with many chains and the DEX to offer the onramp and offramp conversion and support for the withdrawal of the crypto currency. And it has helped the people to get the funds in and out of the blockchains. In this context you can see that Soneium would benefit from the early adoption as well. So you would find that this would be a service that would benefit many others who use the Ethereum Layer 2 tokens too. 

Do note that considering they are doing the FIAT payment and so govt would tail them. So there would be KYC based account opening. And people would be forced to use the account signing with the data that is meant to be shared and there is nothing you can do about this as well.
