Solana started as a heaven for the meme coins and the alt coins gamble. Slowly they decide to go premium and service enterprise. And their days of the alt coin that rugs were gone. They had halting issue but they recovered. 

Now a days they are mostly working with enterprise, payment companies and govt projects. And that is speeding their growth up. Like with more people adopt the payment channel the more exposure. 

x402 and MPP were two features that were added into Solana recently. And they happen to start the 1M/sec agent based payments. Now even the agents can be used to pay for the variety of the things that can be done online with payments.
