CBDC is happening no matter what crypto does for the world. And this means each country has a cash equivalent of the digital rupees. And This project of CBDC would be different for each country. 

Recently Indonesia created a Project Garuda which is going to deploy and do the proof of concept for the digital rupiah. And they have successfully did the launch of this project. 

Lot of twitter based engagement and the learning videos in local language are being done. And they are announcing the updates on the digital rupiah a lot lately. Some of those things would be possible for the development.

Now they are just doing the digital cash ledger logging and also the amount of ledger based operations and also the international transfer and swaps would be implemented on the bank side. So this has a new option for anyone to build upon. In short the Indonesia has decided to step into the future of blockchain and the crypto in general.
