Reputation management and the aggregator of the cross platform reputation collection is one of the ways many social networks have been building -lately. Now Karma Labs is one company that has been collecting the reputation across the chains on Ethereum and then building an aggregator. This way they want to share the reputation across many social chains.
They have developed OpenRank which is a protocol for the reputation platform. And now they are going to be getting the funding for this platform which is around 4.5 M USD.

How does the reputation platform makes any difference? It's like profile system where you can create new profile and use the reputation scores to weight your ranking and those platforms can use that to build the profile. Hacker rank makes use of such system for handling the talent and the profiles. So the same can be done to filter out the real humans from the bots and also build the profiles on them.
This type of the algorithm can be used in the community formation, social apps, dApps and also the leaderboard system where the ranking and the valid data is going to make a difference in handling the humans out of the bot profiles. And also the reputation based on certain metrics can be shared across the platform. In short the karmaLabs product of the openrank protocol is going to make a huge difference.
