Self protocol I learned about recently in the Ethereum forums. And it happens to be one of those protocols where the identity is being revealed with the parameters without having to store data with any third party. And this has made the protocol gain some traction among the privacy conscious people. And as the time moves ahead the protocol would gain some momentum the adoption increases. 

Google cloud has decided to integrate with the Protocol. And as the protocol makes use of the cloud services this partnership is meant to compliment each other. This would help both privacy secured servers scenarios and also help with google cloud benefiting from the new customers. 

Google cloud is offering variety of features like search preferences within their internal portals. The deployment of the protocol on their servers it can help against sybil resistance. It would help a lot on the privacy and the protection from the hackers and security issues. 

As the protocol goes ahead there would be screening and also the variety of the sanction based screening would take in effect too. So in such case it would be something many new protocols in the security and privacy are working hard towards as well. 

Self protocol is also working with the CELO chain for the onchain attestation and they are running their own validator. In short there is a good partnership going on and it would be increasing more trust in between this integration. For us consumers this just brings better product and process out in the industry.
