Web3 is harder to build. For years people are working on building decentralized web3. And the hype is slowing down as it comes and goes in waves. So there has to be funding to push such projects and more on marketing too. Developer grants and credits are being offered by variety of the companies out there. Sequence and Astar are two partnering up in order to launch 200K worth of the credit for launching web3 projects. 

So a platform out of such partnership is coming out named Astar Studio. This platform is designed to encourage the new developers with the grant or say credit that would help build the platform. The projects are being deployed on the Astar zkEVM. So you are still on the layer 2 and also benefiting from the layer 1 as well as the zk solutions too.

The platform specific tools are on the credit. So there is a kind of limit for each project being accepted. So the 200K worth of the credit is good for the starters to deploy on such platform. Sequence is already into the world of building on web3. So the available set of the tools from them would only hlep speed things up and get the projects out on the web.
