I have been using Brave for a few months now and I am loving it. I like how they value privacy and at the same time, they are trying to fix the web. You see, web basically runs on ads. Facebook, Google, YouTube all run on ads. And Brave is trying to fix this bad practice in the digital advertisement. They are trying to tell users that digital advertisement can be a success without constantly tracking users and without creating a unique profile that identifies them.

Now I want to shift the focus towards anonymity. I see some people comparing Brave browser with Tor. And they were not very happy when Brave was included in privacytools website which later they delisted Brave. In my opinion, Brave is a great Google Chrome alternative. But what people should understand is that Brave was not created to compete with Tor or replace Tor. Brave was build to fix the web. And the web requires ads to operate. Tor is built for different purpose. Tor Browser does not ask users to opt-in for ads like Brave does because that is not the purpose they serve. So depending on the severity, one should carefully choose a web browser that serves their needs. And instead of discouraging Brave for not catering anonymity, we should applaud them for their novel idea that has potential to actually fix the web.
