We Are Slaves Of Media Manipulation.

The media are one of the main sources of information that today's society uses to keep abreast of events in the world. However, these media are often not objective or unbiased, but rather respond to the interests of certain groups or individuals who control or finance them. These groups or individuals may have political, economic, ideological or religious aims, and they use the media to create an image or an idea that favors their objectives, manipulating information or distorting reality.

Media manipulation consists of a series of interrelated techniques that seek to influence public opinion using all the resources at their disposal. These techniques include logical fallacies, propaganda, activism, advertising, marketing, political campaigns, censorship, demonization of the opponent, spreading fear or distracting the public. These techniques may involve suppressing information or other points of view, inducing other people or groups to stop listening to certain arguments, or simply diverting their attention to another topic or issue.

This manipulation, undoubtedly, has negative consequences for society (not to say dire), since it affects its critical capacity, its freedom of expression and its right to information. It is also a type of slavery, because society is subjected to a vision of the world that is not its own, but that of those who have the power to control the media. Society thus becomes a flock of sheep that blindly follows what is imposed on it through the news, without questioning or contrasting the information it receives.

To avoid falling into manipulation, it is necessary that each individual learns to develop critical thinking and an active attitude towards the information that reaches them. It is important to look for diverse sources and contrast data, as well as to analyze the context and purpose of each message. It is also essential to educate the new generations in the responsible and ethical use of the media, fostering their analytical skills and critical spirit. Only in this way will we be able to free ourselves from media slavery and build a more informed, freer and more democratic society.

The manipulation of the media is a very complex and delicate issue, they have a great social responsibility and should be more transparent and honest with their audience. I also believe that society should be more critical and demanding of the media and not allow itself to be manipulated by them. In this context, it is important to defend freedom of the press, but also the right to truthful and plural information.

"You will ask yourself: And if I take a risk and lose...? I will ask you: AND IF YOU RISK AND WIN? Success begins with thought, because sooner or later the man who wins is the one who believes he can do it. Do not be afraid of mistakes or failure, winners are not afraid of losing, losers are, in most cases the risk comes from not knowing what you are doing, so trust yourself, learn, be patient, manage your emotions and above all, enjoy the journey, what the wise man does at the beginning, the fool does at the end" - Anonymous.
