I’m quite happy and excited about my new journey. It consists of reaching financial freedom through diverse income sources. I work full-time as a developer, and 99% of my earnings come from this source.

The problem is clear, I depend too much on my work. Also, it's draining all my mental energy and time. Sometimes my job can turn boring and unsatisfactory, so I have to do something else in my free time to feel fulfilled.

In the past month of October, I have been reading a lot of articles from you on this site, and I learned a lot about DeFi, yield farming, staking, and so on. Therefore, inspired by these articles, I asked myself “why not try to do something similar?”.

A strategy for the future

What will be the new source of my income? Well, I could come with a response to that question. It consists of diversification and creating synergies. 

First, I expect blogging to be my main source of income, the engine of my plan. I will focus on sites like Medium, Publish0x, LeoFinance, and writing on my own blog. Also, because my mother tongue is Spanish, I'm able to write translated versions of my posts. This way, I can reach a greater audience almost effortlessly.

Second, for my posts, I will need pictures, but because one of my hobbies is photography, it won’t be a problem; even more, I can finally use my photos for good. This translates into more motivation, new experiences, and then more posts I can write (see the synergy here?). Some of these pictures could be sold on OpenSea or Rarible as NFT or as a stock photo, so here comes my second source of income.

And then, the party begins...

The crypto economy model that we are experiencing right now is the perfect breeding ground for me, DeFi and stake opens a lot of possibilities. Do you remember about the engine you read before? Well, better use it to move the vehicle to financial freedom.

The idea is to reinvest all gains by staking and using DeFi platforms for yield farming, lending, and provide liquidity. I hope this degree of diversification could make my earning more consistent and safer while I create much more wealth slowly, and the compound does its job. But not less important, I will obtain more knowledge and experience.
