Last week, I got paid in crypto.
It was not big task. Someone was supposed to pay me with an 28 USDC. The payment value was small.
However, there was one issue, that person had Ethereum wallet, but I usually use the Solana.

In normal cases, this kind of stuff can give you headache.
For me to ignore my Solana wallet, he would need to do bridging. Most people really do not want to.
If I gave him my Ethereum wallet, I would have to keep Ethereum just to pay gas fees, which is also not good.
This is not a great solution.

Then I thought about something: why not just give out my Cwallet number?

People are not so aware, but with a Cwallet you can get coins from many of networks and switch them without having to use original gas.
So I provided to him my Cwallet wallet just set for Ethereum. He sent USDC this way. After some seconds, I saw balance got updated.

My balance did not have Ethereum just had USDC.
I opened Cwallet app and changed USDC directly to SOL.
I did not see any gas being needed. No bridging involved. No struggle with wallets now.
Then I moved the wallet data of me into Phantom application and sent that SOL away, costing something near 0.0002 for transaction.

Total process took somewhere around five minutes.
No Binance account. Coinbase was not required. No random swap web site. Not “your withdrawal is being checked for compliance.”
Only Cwallet. You swap it, you push funds to Phantom and that is end of work. That was when I seen: crypto is actually working for me as use.
I was not just keeping coins. I was not just tracking prices.
I at last made an transaction like way it should be.

The thing that made me get it was not any technical aspect. It was mostly because nothing went wrong.
Nothing needed gas that I never had.
Did not lose 5 dollars to send a payment of 28.
No googling all bridges that are not so terrible every next day.

This all happened smoothly. Even I did it two further times since then.

So when you have little crypto payments and never want to use centralized exchanges,
try this: accept funds by the Cwallet, do your swap, move to Phantom and transmit.

No difficult process. No ID checks. No extra issues.

It is not flashy but works solid, which is way ahead than looking fancy.
