Today I came across an inspiring text about mountaineering. I might never fully understand the spirit that drives people who engage in mountaineering, but I felt some analogy with the crypto world. No joke. Seriously. I’m laughing: I’m a crypto-mountaineer.Why?
- Mountaineers can’t avoid avalanches 100%. The same goes for crypto systems. As I’ve learned, there are scammers and other risks in this world too. They’re like avalanches. They just exist by their nature.
- Today I attended an online seminar on cryptocurrency. I realized that, just like a mountaineer faces challenges and new horizons with each height climbed, each step in crypto presents its own challenges and opportunities. The key is to start, even if you don’t know exactly how to reach your “crypto Everest.” I was impressed with myself as I saw the results of my self-education. I even asked questions, having some knowledge. Woohoo! :)
- It’s important to trust the team and learn from those with more experience. I don’t have my own crypto community yet, except for publish0x in some sense. Personally, I struggle with this point because the war in my country has greatly impacted my mental state. I feel like I’ve “hidden and gone silent.” From being an extrovert, I’ve turned into an introvert. :) By the way, one of our great poets, Lesya Ukrainka, once wrote, “…to avoid crying, I laughed.” That’s what I do. I laugh at this… at the fact that I’ve “hidden and gone silent.”
Don’t rely on tomorrow. Here, I can definitely share a lot. If there’s an opportunity to climb to the summit, go for it!We Ukrainians are grateful every morning that a new day has arrived. The chance of the opposite is high. It’s intense. Honestly, it’s frightening. It’s similar to mountaineering in that way. When it comes to crypto, I’ve realized that speed and reaction are very important here.- Mountaineers look back while climbing to assess the path they’ve traveled. It seems that everyone does this in everyday life too. In the crypto reality, it’s important to evaluate past experiences so that future endeavors bring tokens and success, even in the face of a Bitcoin drop, for example.
So, that’s it. It seems to me that I’ve managed to draw a good comparison between mountaineering and the crypto world. And although I feel almost like a beginner, I’m already sensing small “victories” along the way. Right?
