With the new increased popularity of cryptocurrencies, I want to talk about how important altcoins are to the success of all cryptocurrencies

With Bitcoin and Ethereum becoming the poster boys for cryptocurrencies, there are still many different coins that will help make cryptocurrencies more user friendly and faster to use. The following coins all have unique features that help grow the world of crypto. Some examples of these coins are:

  • Stellar (XLM) : Stellar provides an easy way for people and banks to exchange real-world dollars into exchangeable tokens

  • EOSIO (EOS) : EOSIO is a great way to have fast transactions. EOSIO is aimed at helping developers and consumers get the most out of cryptocurrencies from large scale applications and large projects

  • Tether (USDT) : Tether is an awesome stablecoin that gets rid of the fear of instability and volatility. Tether is tied to the American Dollar and is always at a 1 to 1 relationship with it

  • Basic Attention Token (BAT) : BAT is a token that is given as a reward in the brave browser. The Brave browser is used to get rid of ads and stop websites from tracking you. Ads are blocked by default but you can receive a small number of ads, if you would like, in order to get small amounts of BAT as a reward

  • Filecoin (FIL) : Filecoin is an innovative coin that is used to store files and documents to later be retrieved. Filecoin helps store files safely and reliably over long periods of time

  • Dash (DASH) : Dash is used for lightning speed transactions with minimal fees which are great for everyday purchases

All of these coins will help expand the uses of cryptocurrencies and will help get more people involved in crypto. These are just a few examples of the uses of coins and there are still many other coins that will expand the horizon of cryptocurrencies in the future.
