while free spins, great offers and PTC are the main attraction of the site, Multiplier is a part you can consider if not for earning, for other purposes.
Let' s be clear. It's GAMBLING. In the end you will lose (or you will play so low that your earning will be not worth the time).
BUT it's good gambling. The odds are in favor of the house but the percentage is not bad.
Please note that, for Dice games, the amount you will get usually goes from 1.9x to 1.94x of the bet, in case of 50% chances of win. With the exception of BetFury (1.9804x)
The Multiplier at lvl1 will return 96.2 of your total bets. As you can see, it's better than trying dice in most sites. You have 68.7% chances to win, prize is 1.4 the bet.
Now, on dice you can try the good old martingala and double the base amount every time to compensate losses.
On Multiplier it doesn't work exactly that way:
- the first time you bet 100, let imagine you lose.
- the second time you bet 200, and you win. You bet a total of 300 but won just 280
Instead you can go lvl2. In that case you bet 100+100 and will get 100*2.1 = 210
Every level above 1, will have a 66.6% win chance. So you have 46% chances to win a level2 bet ( 68% lvl1 * 67% lvl2).
In case you lose, you can A) keep the same base bet (100 in our example) and try to win lvl3 but that has 30.5% chances of happening, or B) double the base and try again level2. In our example we will play 200 and if we win we will get 420 coins, enough to compensate the 100+100+200 spent. For me it's the better choice.
Using this sequence, we can have a good chance to not lose our money :
as per the image above we lose 6.5 times every 1000 bets we bring to 3200 coins. When it happens it's bad but we need just a bit of variation and we can avoid burning ourselves.
Of course, if statistic works as it should, betting 100K times, you will lose a lot. But this is not what actually happens and we don't play so many bets to normalize. Finally we can decide to start with lower amounts, to cap ourself before the 1K coins or try to compensate just with lvl2 bets.
So, if we won't force a profit, it's possible to stay afloat for long with minimal losses. Vice versa it's really difficult to make big money here, since we usually gain few coins every cycle.
What's the point of playing the multiplier then ? EXPERIENCE. While the wins do not count as earnings (yes, you get extra money but they don't count for missions), wagering on multiplier will give you experience. More experience is more free spins. Every 10K coins wagered you will get 5 exp. It's not great but when you reach the 40 something level, it starts to be attractive. At lvl 50 you pass from 23 bonus spins/week to 40/week.
My experience so far:
- most of the time you win. Since we get just +10% every time we lose the first bet... we earn a little;
- there are situation where it's your call to stop or not. Losing 9 or 10 times happens once in a thousand. But losing 800 or 1600 coins is well different from losing 12800 or more;
- I passed from 190K coins to 220K to 260K to 310K down to 190K to 200K in 48 hours ( from half 48 lvl to beginning of 51 level). I took various quests but depending how you see it I lost 12 / 5 / 0 dollars in the process.
My advice is to play a bit when you need exp to level up or when you are above lvl40. Getting to 50 is a game changer.
The best strategy is to play a bit and see how many times you win at level 1. If it's more than 70% of the bets, you have created a buffer and you can start betting more or simply stop when the losses equalize the wins. Take notes of your daily earnings. It's important to wager for exp, not to make tons of coins.
