How I Withdrew ETH, OP & USDC Without Paying High Gas Fees

✅ Publish0x Withdrawal Guide: How I Withdrew ETH, OP & USDC Without Paying High Gas Fees

By Cloudy12 | Crypto Hustle NG | 31 Jul 2025

Ever earned crypto from Publish0x but didn’t know how to withdraw it without losing money to gas fees? I’ve been there too. Just recently, I made my very first withdrawal from Publish0x — and it actually went better than I expected.

Here’s the full story of how I withdrew ETH, OP, and USDC straight into my Gate.io account, avoided crazy gas fees, and made the most out of the tokens I earned by simply writing.

🚨 The Announcement That Changed Everything

On July 28th, 2025, I was casually checking the Publish0x website when I saw an important update:

“OP and ETH will be converted to USDC on Tuesday… Final withdrawal requests for OP and ETH must be submitted before midnight UTC on the 28th.”

At first, I didn’t take it too seriously. But when I read the conversion rates they planned to use — $0.55 for OP and $2,620 for ETH — I knew I had to act fast.

Those prices were lower than the real market prices, and if I allowed the conversion to happen, my tokens would lose value. I didn’t want that, especially after earning them patiently from my posts.

🧠 Why I Chose Gate.io (And Not MetaMask)

A lot of people use wallets like MetaMask or Trust Wallet for withdrawals, but I knew something important: gas fees on those wallets can eat up your entire balance — especially on the Ethereum network.

So instead of risking that, I chose to withdraw my tokens directly to Gate.io. Why?

  • I already had a Gate.io account (for over 2 years).

  • I’ve used it before (even claimed a Telegram airdrop there called DOGS).

  • Gate.io allows on-chain deposits via Optimism — the same network Publish0x uses.

  • No gas fees for deposit and I could convert tokens instantly for free.

🔧 How I Got My Deposit Addresses from Gate.io

Here’s exactly how I got the deposit addresses for ETH, OP, and USDC:

  1. Opened the Gate.io app.

  2. Clicked Deposit on the home screen.

  3. Chose On-chain Deposit.

  4. Selected each token (ETH, OP, USDC) one by one.

  5. Chose the Optimism network.

  6. Copied the address (they all had the same address, since they’re on the same network).

Easy and beginner-friendly.

📩 Linking the Wallet to Publish0x

After that, I went back to my Publish0x dashboard and:

  1. Clicked Edit Settings.

  2. Selected On-chain Wallets.

  3. Pasted my copied addresses into their correct fields.

  4. Clicked Save.

  5. Got a confirmation email from Publish0x.

  6. Clicked the “Confirm Wallet Address Change” link in the email.

Done. My wallet was now ready to receive payments.

💸 My Token Values Before Withdrawal

At the time I submitted my request, here’s what I had earned:

  • ETH: $0.94

  • OP: $1.09

  • USDC: $0.59

It might seem small, but for me, it felt huge — because I earned it without spending a dime, just by writing. And unlike many hyped-up airdrops that never pay, this one was real.

Still, I was a bit scared at first — I kept checking and double-checking the wallet addresses to be sure I didn’t mess anything up.

🎉 Surprise: My Tokens Arrived Early

Here’s the best part…

Publish0x said payouts would happen on August 4th, which is the next Monday. But I was shocked when I got an email on July 29th (the very next day) saying:

“Your withdrawal has been paid successfully.”

And boom — all the tokens landed in my Gate.io account one full week early. Everything went smoothly. Nothing was lost.

Only one thing: the token prices dropped a bit after I withdrew, so the value of my earnings reduced slightly. But at least I was able to get them out on time, avoid unnecessary losses, and learn something valuable.

💡 Final Thoughts: Don’t Wait Too Long

If you’re earning crypto from Publish0x and want to withdraw it:

  • Act early when announcements are made.

  • Avoid high gas fees by using an exchange like Gate.io with on-chain deposit support.

  • Always double-check addresses before submitting.

  • And don’t feel bad if your tokens are “small” — they add up, especially if the token price increases later.

This was my first withdrawal experience, and I’m glad I did it. I also used the OP to buy data subscription and staked the ETH I converted — but that’s a story for another blog post 😉.
