Publish0x Ambassador Program

Three Reasons to Utilize the Ambassador Program on Publish0x

By Valdyr | Crypto-Curious Blogger | 28 Sep 2023

If you've been writing on Publish0x for any length of time, hopefully by now you've already discovered the Ambassador Program here on the site. If you're not taking advantage of this referral program from Publish0x, there are three reasons why, especially as a writer, that you should.

Referrals

As I mentioned, the Ambassador Program is Publish0x's referral program where writers and users can earn additional income on the site from successfully referring new members to the site. You can find your individual referral link and basic tag on the Ambassador Program page. You can add this tag to any post from the site, and any new member who signs up through this link and starts utilizing the tipping system on this site will send a 5% kick-back to you. Remember, the tip pools on Publish0x are free, and it's good to note that the referral bonus you get from referred users tipping does not affect the total tip pay-out to the tipper

Monthly Contest

Each month, Publish0x also runs a contest for the top referring members on the site. There are some thresholds to meet for new referrals to qualify as a 'minimally active user,' but Publish0x management hasn't explicitly laid out these requirements as to help avoid cheating. With so many writers on Publish0x, you might think it would be hard to compete, but let's take a look at last month's winners - the bottom tier only needed five new qualifying user sign-ups to meet that $5 ETH reward. So if you're a prolific writer and not utilizing your referral tag while posting your articles, you may be missing out on a healthy bonus to your earnings here on Publish0x.

Tracking Codes

While earning extra income from Publish0x's referral program is reason enough to utilize your personal tracking link and tags, my favorite aspect of the Ambassador Program is the ability to add additional customizable tags - similar to the UTM tags you, as a marketer, might utilize to track traffic to your personal website in Google Analytics. You can create any kind of tags you would like to help you track which sources or platforms are getting your posts the most views. For instance, in my case, I've found that X (Twitter), Threads, and several of the Web3 social media platforms I use such as Phaver and Solarplex are getting me the most traffic at the moment here on Publish0x. This kind of information is useful to a writer and can inform me of several things, such as:

  • I can spend more time promoting my articles on my top-performing referral platforms, since I'm obviously making connections and have interested followers who want to see my work there.
  • I can find a different approach to platforms that are not performing as well, to see if different formats, etc., start to result in more clicks.
  • I could even consider dropping platforms that aren't resulting in many referrals at all, thus saving me time each day when I promote my new articles.

Publish0x is unique among the Web3 publishing platforms in that it offers these deeper individualized tracking codes; if you haven't used them yet, I'd recommend adding them to your links as you go about your day promoting your work to see where you're getting the most traffic.

Do you have any other tips or tricks you'd recommend when utilizing the Publish0x Ambassador Program? If so, I'd love to hear how you're making the most of the Ambassador Program benefits. Comments always welcome!
