Bitcoin Market Cap Hits $608 Billion, Active Wallets on the rise

As the price of bitcoin surpassed levels near $32,000 per coin, bitcoin’s total market capitalization (the USD value of all combined bitcoin) surpassed the $608 billion mark for the first time. It’s an amazing milestone in the 12 short years since Bitcoin's inception. The market cap for gold, for example, is about $9 Trillion, another 17 times larger than bitcoin is today!

Some data pulled from Coinmetrics shows that the number of active BTC addresses is mooning as much as the coin itself. Active addresses are at their highest levels since January 2018 and may soon overlap levels not seen since late 2017 when Bitcoin was at the time at its all time highest $20,000. A handful of metrics continue to show positive momentum supporting bitcoin’s strong network fundamentals, it is for sure shown by Bitcoins Price, now reflecting that momentum.

You can see in the chart that back in late 2017 and early 2018 there where about 1.2+ Million Active BTC addresses, we are currently 1.19 + Million Active wallets.

I leave you with this,
