Technology demands and Nayib Bukele Speaks

     Technology requires safety, economical taxation, and freedom of expression in order to develop. Unfortunately, the world is losing this centre. El Salvador's President, Nayib Bukele, has stated that the country is the safest in the Western Hemisphere, that freedom of expression is guaranteed, and that there is no property tax. The goal is to attract worldwide technology and business.

Bukele's Efforts

     Nayib Bukele has been trying to make El Salvador attractive among modern technology industries for a long time. He has given opportunities to the crypto industry by making Bitcoin a legal tender, made El Salvador safe by eliminating violent gangs, and increased opportunities by eliminating many types of taxes. But El Salvador has still not become a centre of attraction for big technology industries.

Bukele is milking the cow

     Bukele's new attempt can be considered an attempt to capitalise on the recent arrest of the Telegram CEO in France and the decisions taken against X owner Elon Musk in Brazil and the EU. Almost everyone is supporting Nayib Bukele's.

Elon Musk finds Bukele Awesome

     Elon Musk has responded to Bukele's post by saying "awesome.". It seems clear that Musk could do something similar to Tesla, SpaceX, Nauralink, and X in El Salvador. Bukele's policies are affecting the politics of entire Latin America, and Musk would not want to miss any opportunity to embarrass Brazil in Latin America.
