Will Trump pardon CZ?

     Binance founder CZ is reportedly seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump. Although CZ has dismissed the claims, he has not officially rejected the idea of a pardon. However, after serving four months in prison for breaching the Bank Secrecy Act, it seems unlikely that a pardon would hold significant meaning for CZ.

CZ and World Library Financial

     CZ’s meeting with World Liberty Financial co-founder Steve Witkoff at the Bitcoin MENA 2024 conference in Abu Dhabi has been seized upon by Bloomberg as a potential partnership between Trump and CZ. However, CZ has claimed that this narrative was politically motivated. I, too, believe the media coverage is flawed, as CZ, who advises against investing in memecoin, doesn’t seem overly concerned with WFL.

My Point between Trump and CZ

     Based on my own research, I’m sceptical of the media reports, but I do sense a possible reconciliation between Trump and CZ in the crypto space. Despite stepping away from Binance, CZ has remained deeply involved in the Cryptoverse, and Trump has been a crypto supporter. There’s potential for CZ to achieve something for BNB in the US, just as he has worked with the King of Bhutan to build a BNB reserve in Asia. So, it’s not entirely out of the question for a similar collaboration to occur in the US.
