According to reports, an unidentified hacker broke into pNetwork, mined $1 billion worth of GALA tokens, and then sold those pGalas on PancakeSwap, causing the price of GALA, the native currency of GoGalaGames, tumbling. PNetwork and GoGalaGames have both refuted this, though.

Gala Denied Hacking 

    Gala team has denied that any hack even happened; they claim that it is just a misconfiguration at pNetwork which abondned it and minted its native pGALA token.

But this explanation by GALA is not enough to satisfy the people.

Binance Suspends GALA

     Binance has made the decision to discontinue supporting $GALA on the BSC network (BEP-20) and to halt deposits and withdrawals of the cryptocurrency from its platform. Currently, the GALA token can only be used on the ERC-20 network. 

Work Under Pressure 

     pNetwork Bridge is working with the Gala team for restoration at BSC to avoid any issues. BSC is also in touch with them to provide relief to the affected investors. At the moment, pNetwork has asked people not to swap in the existing pancakeswap pool, which is now invalid. 

Thoughts  

Bridges are still notorious in the cryptocurrency world for being susceptible to nefarious factors. The pNetwork serves as the bridge between BSC and ERC, and due to the network's unpredictability, GALA is suffering. If ERC also suspends support, then Gala will be finished.
