The centralised exchanges in Europe are listing and delisting stablecoins to comply with MiCA requirements.
Delisted Stablecoins
Those that cannot comply with MiCA are delisted. Main stablecoins that are delisted:
- Centralised stablecoins like Tether's USDT, TRON's TUSD, Paxo's USDP, and Gemini's GUSD.
- Decentralised stablecoins like DAI, FRAX.
Listed Stablecoins
A number of stablecoins just accepted MiCA regulations to get a share in the EU market. For example:
- Centralised stablecoins like Circle's USDC, PayPal's PYUSD, new ones like Ripple's RLUSD, Euro-based stablecoins (e.g., EURCV) are also going to be listed.
- Decentralised stablecoins: Are you kidding? Decentralised might give economic freedom, not expected in regulation.
