If you are a Twitter user and follow Crypto topic you might have seen those posts asking you to drop your ETH address in the comments.
Most recently a bunch of them popped up after meme coin PEPE pumped to astronomical heights!
Those folks on Twitter show pictures of their wallet and say they will send a lucky winner or a few lucky winners some funds — I have seen $15,000 to apparent lucky person. They just need to: like, retweet and follow!

I have given it a go, even tried to be creative but I have realized this is those are most likely just follower hunters!
As some of them have used a picture of the same wallet. lol

I also think those are automated messages this is especially evident on Troop NFT promoter profile

Doing those likes and retweets however, had gained me followers. I went from 5 to 16 in one day. 😂
I have tried to set up my own “Drop your ETH don’t ask why” but it did not work at all! of course, I didn’t pay to be featured on. Twitter feed hence the result. But it looks like doing all those drop your ETH is a good strategy to gain a large amount of followers in a very short time (if you have money to spend!)
I consider this to be a scam as I don’t see any winners there from those announcements, just fake pictures!
Now you can save yourself time when you see those on Twitter - most likely a scam just so you follow!
Have a great day!
