The publish0x platform has quickly become my blog of choice. It's simplicity is actually a strength. It has a good community, No ads is just the cherry on the top. If that is not enough, you get paid to read and write articles.

However, recent articles seem to focus a lot on cryptocurrency. And with this, emerges the risk of publish0x being demoted to solely a cryptocurrency blog.

A quick review of the How it Works pages on this site makes it abundantly clear that the platform is integrally linked to cryptocurrency. Why then, you may ask, am I concerned about the "takeover" of this site by cryptocurrency news.

If you visit the site a few times a day to catch up on the latest posts. you will find increasingly that the first two pages are dominated by articles about cryptocurrency.

While in itself should not be a problem, increasingly, the tone and character of the articles is being transformed into an excuse for referral links and advertisements in the guise of articles.

Popup and Adverts vs Blog

Most people remotely experienced with cryptocurrency know the one thing that characterizes many cryptocurrency sites : adverts. Heaps and heaps of adverts in some cases. This is perhaps the one important reason that publish0x stands out from the rest.

A lack of control on referral link and cryptocurrency projects on publish0x run the risk of the platform transforming into an avenue for promoting such projects inside the blog posts.

Do we need control

We shouldn't need to control a platform like publish0x, but may need to build in mechanisms for reporting and moderation of articles.
