A Ethereum Whale Holds $100 Million Worth of ETH for 8 Years

Who does that? Can someone hold $100 million worth of ETH for 8 years? No, way I would have done it. So, the whale had bought eth in 2015 and hold it since then. Must salute the spirit to not sell it yet and keep the wallet inactive for 8 years. Because we saw a massive crypto pump already in 2017 and 2021 and the owner still hadn’t sold them then.

But the wallet that had been dormant for 8 years seems active now and had held 61,216 ETH which he transferred into a centralized crypto-exchange Kraken, and the surprising fact is he transferred all the ETH at once. Had he sold it when ETH was at $3100, it would still have been 10,000 times the return on his investment. He had received 61,216 ETH at Ethereum Genesis, at the ETH ICO price of $0.31.
