Watch Quality   A-

The video is mostly clear. The sound is a bit fuzzy, but certainly passable.

Plot Summary

A repressed young woman decides to embrace her freedom for a change, but a series of coincidences entangles her in a murder mystery.

Star Power   C+

Angel and King are charming and their comic delivery is smooth and well-timed.  Yet their performances are not overly memorable.  Bevans plays a wily criminal informant with more originality.

Chill Factor   B-

Your date will be amused by the comical capers and the quick pace.  The romance is cute but a little trite, and there is not enough atmosphere to fully start a smoldering chemistry.

Mental Health Check   B+

Despite the murder, the tone remains light.  The police are notably reckless with their gunfire, and the gender norms are clearly out of date.  The script insists that a woman's happiness rests on being pretty.  However, the film will help you relax.

Overall Grade   B-

People watch comedy films for quick laughs, and this movie provides them.  The plot is silly but endearing.  The characters are rather one-dimensional and the romance doesn't develop any complexity.  Still, everything moves fast enough to keep the viewer guessing and chuckling.
