Publish0x first introduced Publish0x's governance token FARM as a tipping token in January of this year. I loved that it was added but it did seem to get a pretty lukewarm response from a lot of peoples on the platform. It puzzled me because Harvest was really starting to take off and build out its farming platform but I am happy to see that over time peoples tunes seem to have really changed! In April Publish0x transitioned from FARM to iFARM due to the cost of gas.
I loved this change because I am a long term believer/user of this platform. While FARM requires you to deposit it into the yield farm iFARM does not which made a huge difference as a hodler. It allowed me to save ETH which was great because at the time I was using the ETH I earned on this platform to stake my FARM.
Today was the last day to request your payout in iFARM before they transition that amount into FARM. One of the big things that has changed for FARM recently is its addition to Coinbase. Now that I will be earning FARM I might not have it sent to the wallet I have had my iFARM sent to and instead have it sent to Coinbase. While a ton of people do not like this and would rather use DEX's I do not mind paying the premium due to the amount of funds I already have on Coinbase. If KuCoin accepted FARM I would definitely have it sent there to keep my Publish0x earning as organized as possible but they do not have it listed so Coinbase is looking to be the one for me.
Depending on how much FARM I earn a month and gas prices this could change and I could continue to do what I once did when I just paid to stake my FARM which if you did not know you receive iFARM in return almost like a receipt. This will also lead to me looking at utilizing this income in a new way as instead of hodling I might instead swap this token for another. I have really been watching Chiliz recently as well as The Graph and MATIC as tokens to invest in. While I own these three tokens already taking my FARM and swapping it for one of these instead of paying gas fees to stake might be the best cost effective move for me to do.
