As someone who just had his one year anniversary on this platform I want to say how appreciative of it and everyone who is apart of it! That being said nothing is ever going to be perfect and I think it is important that we always try to improve upon what we have. Given how great Publish0x is it’s been difficult to find things to complain about but a couple of ideas have come to mind.

Idea One

I have loved reading an variety of articles from a ton of different points of view! I think that the diversity of posts and thoughts is key to any successful platform like this. While not necessarily something to change I think a really cool either feature or contest idea would be to promote new authors! I have thought of a couple of ways this could be done and one is via a contest where the participants would have to apply and have under a certain amount of followers. This would allow for people to check in on the contest and see new authors and highlight these people’s points of view. The other idea would be to add a new author tab where you have to have under 200 followers or so allowing those individuals articles to be separated and not lost in the pool of larger authors!

Idea Two

The other idea I have had is allow the community to vote on the newest tipping coin/token. I think most of us on here would agree that Ethereum’s has fees are going to stay high for a while now so the next tipping coin/token should not be on the Ether Network. My only exception would be if it was something like iFARM where one could hold it and have an auto compounding feature allow you to hold without the need to use gas.

I believe there are several options here that could be picked from that cover a pretty wide area. One thing I will say is here I am looking for low cost coins so people could invest further in them so a coin like Solana or Binance Coin are out. Still that leaves us with a variety of options from coins like Tezos and Cardano to others like Chiliz and even one like Stellar. These four coins cover a wide range of applications but they all have the key idea of not being directly on the Ether Network.

The voting option would at least give the Publish0x team an idea on what the community is feeling or interested in! Then the team would be able to see if it was feasible or not but like I mentioned see what the community is looking at! Now I wasn’t going to mention this last one because it wouldn’t get chosen and could end up with getting no votes but Doge would even been an interesting idea. The reason for this is because more and more places are accepting it as payment from sports teams to regular shops!

Final Thoughts

Again these are just some ideas that had been rolling around in my head that I wanted to share! Growth is vital and getting some new authors a little boost would add new voices to the conversation! The third tipping coin/token could serve as the future replacement of AMPL or FARM whichever leaves first.
