If you do not already know Harvest and Balancer frequently collaborate together and the results have been nothing sort of amazing for those who have used them! One of the big things that attracts people to these farms is that Balancer is very similar to an index fund. However instead of paying someone to manage the fund people who use these pools receive fees from when people rebalance the portfolio! It might sound backwards but boy does it work and produce amazing results for users!
Earlier this morning Harvest actually tweeted at Balancer hey we have some farms incoming so naturally, I had to pay attention! Well, they have finally appeared on the UI and they brought the big Balancer pools to the Polygon chain! Three new farms were added and since they have not been fully integrated yet with miFARM emissions their APY's are not quite right yet. However, this does provide us with a base level of what we can expect as it will only go up from here! The farms are Balancer-TUSD-Stable which is a basket of TSUD, USDC, USDT, and DAI and is yielding 10.55%, Balancer USDC-WETH which is yielding 46.43% APY, and finally, Balancer WBTC-WETH which is yielding 13.44% APY.
Like I said earlier while these farms' APY's are not complete yet this provides the base LP APY. With the Polygon chain not only do you also receive miFARM (the equivalent of iFARM on the Ethereum chain) but WMATIC rewards have been added to all of the Polygon farms as well. These farms also will be getting WMATIC rewards like the other Polygon farms to receive. Overall that means two additional APY boosters will be added to these farms and that is huge! The cost of exchange on the Polygon network is low meaning that these APY's go even further to the average user! The Polygon chain has really been a great addition for those who cannot afford the Ethereum gas fees bringing DeFi to the average user!
