Harvest has decided to end the first quarter of 2023 with an absolute BANG, to say the least. As I have written about Harvest is gearing up to release Harvest 3 which will incorporate a ton of new features that will help simplify the process for people to participate in the DeFi ecosystem. While they have not released the update yet they did just release an absolutely insane amount of new farms across the three major chains they are on (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbiturum). To give each of the chains and the farms fair coverage I have decided to break up the number of farm updates into a couple of posts. In part one I will cover what has just launched on the newest chain you can find Harvest Finance on Arbitrum!
The majority of these farms come from two different protocols and are SolidLizard and Posion Finance. Since these farms are so new and some have not yet had deposits or do not yet have iFARM rewards (something that is coming to these farms finally) I will not be writing about their APY's because they are all extremely high!
The pairs for SolidLizard are ARB-ETH, ARB-USDC, SLIZ-ETH, ETH-USDC, agEUR-USDC, and finally LUSD-USDC. I would say these are the pretty standard pairs that I would expect from any protocol to have. None of these are exactly unique or standouts but they are basic ones nonetheless that are needed. For those that do not know agEUR is the largest decentralized over-collateralized Euro stablecoin. SLIZ is also SolidLizards native governance token as well which is worth mentioning.
Poison Finance on the other hand offers some very very interesting farms that are extremely unique! Of the six farms that are offered, only three have pairs and they are pGOLD-USDC, pSLVR-USDC, and pTSLA-USDC all of these pairs auto-compounding. Having gold, silver, and Tesla stock in a USDC pairing is really interesting and something that I look forward to following! Given the banking issues along with Elon Musk's Twitter acquisition, the prices trading against USDC are going to be interesting to see. The other three farms are single token farms being iPoison (Poison Finances native token), pGOLD, and pSLVR with these last two HODLing in iPoison.
Three other protocols have a few farms on the Harvest Arbitrum chain and those include Balancer with wstETH-ETH, wstETH-USDC, and ETH-wBTC-USDC farm. SushiSwap with MAGIC-ETH, DPX-ETH, and RDPX-ETH. Last but certainly not least is Convex Finance with ETH-wBTC-USDT and USDC-USDT. All told there are already 20 farms on the Arbitrum chain and I am sure there will be many more to come! With the next emissions decrease in a little over three days I would assume that is when we are going to see the change from Harvest!
