As a long long long time user of Harvest Finance it is wild to see how far the platform has come! It seems like just a few months ago they only had one chain that they operated on and now they are on FIVE! From having to worry about gas prices and APYs to the creation of Autopilot Vaults that take care of getting your crypto the best yield across a number of different protocols there has been a heck of a evolution!
Turns out they are not done either and have continued to figure out new ways to get users even more! Last week Harvest posted on X that
As someone who has just put USDC, cbBTC, and WETH in Autopilot vaults when they first launched and walked away I wasn't keeping a close eye on them. I would check the APYs and it tended to run between 8.5% to 10% which was more than I could have asked for so all of the details going on I had no idea. Well I will be a son of a gun if I didnt follow the link and realize that I had a pretty nice amount of points.
I mean I ended up with over 600 points which places me right around 1170 out of everyone! I didnt have to do a thing and ended up with this many points and thus a ranking as high as it is. Sure it is more likely than not that this wont result in any sort of crazy amount of bag but considering I was just expecting the yield farming rewards this is a nice boost!
I have only briefly looked over IPOR and what they are trying to do and I have to say they seem to pass the smell test. They have been around since 2022 and more importantly when you look into who is part of their team these people have LinkedIn profiles and names. Plus they have a number of investors that I have heard of. It is definitely a protocol I will do a deeper dive into to see what I can find out more on.
