I think it is safe to say that the last week has been pretty interesting with all of the crypto news that has hit the wire. With all the negative news though I was really excited to see the announcement from Harvest Finance about the 12 new farms that they have rolled out across Polygon, Arbitrum, and Ethereum blockchains. 

These 12 farms cover a variety of LSDs or liquid staking derivatives. LSDs picked up enormous momentum when ETH's PoS network was launched, allowing people to lend to pools while retaining ownership of what they had lent. With all of the different pools launched a variety of ETH-based tokens have been launched and Harvest has only listed the bigger ones which include stETH, aETH, rETH, frxETH,srfxETH, sETH2, MaticX, and amMATIC. Five of these LSD farms are located on the Ethereum Chain which with the rollout of Harvest 3 allows you to choose any token to add which will be zapped into the correct LP token. Three Abitrum farms have also been launched that all only deal in ETH derivatives. Lastly, with the Polygon blockchain, there were four farms added and these have two that do not deal in ETH but rather MATIC itself. 

I think we have seen at least for the time being that liquid staking derivatives are going to be here for a little bit. They are really serving a pretty solid purpose in allowing people to stake when they do not have the full amount (32 ETH) to do so. Now it is possible that in the future another thing could take its place but as the Ethereum blockchain is now they serve a vital and important purpose. All of these farms are yielding over 5% with several in the double digits even with thousands in assets showing the strength and health of the farms. 

I cannot wait to see what is up next for Harvest 3 as they have continued to really roll out these farms that are nothing short of a huge hit!
