Compared to typical web addresses which require renewal fees among others these domain names only require an individual to purchase them. With a price starting as low as $5 for some of the names the price is incredibly reasonable compared to what it could be! It is worth noting as well that the minting and gas fees once you have purchased an NFT domain name are also covered by Unstoppable Domains making the service even better for users.
When I first purchased a couple of domain name NFTs they only had four different domain extensions offered but are now up to 9 total! With over 2.4 million domains registered, over 295 integrations, and over 275 coins and tokens supported Unstoppable Domains is living up to its name! The ease of use with their site combined with the inexpensive nature that the domain names start at really help provide anyone to partake in the NFT domain name area.
