Crunching the Numbers on Publish0x Posts

Writing on Publish0x is an interesting platform for sure. As someone who spent the majority of their undergrad crunching data in R writing on this platform allows for you to both have an outlet and to see how people react. Keeping track of my articles Publish0x has an interesting phenomenon or pattern depending on how you look at it.

It is very interesting to see how people react to posts that while they probably do not agree with the facts back them up. My last post for example used examples and honesty the same ideas that the Robinhood CEO used. Well, that might be my most disliked article as it had 15 likes and 5 dislikes when I began to write this. In the comment, the things people pointed out were directly addressed in the CEO's interview which I did not listen to or write about extensively.

Previously I had written about how people would dislike posts when they dealt with stuff they did not agree the tags should deal with however the last post as well..... the tags were all correct and well Robinhood does not even have a tag yet but I went ahead and did it. The people who clicked on it knew exactly what the article would be like yet it was still heavily disliked just.... well because people do not like the platform and while I understand people might not like the platform as a small writer it is really discouraging to have to deal with this.

I am not sure what can be done to monitor this all I know is that as a new writer and as a new blogger who is trying to get started it's pretty disheartening to see the people negatively react to an article when you just state what is happening to inform people. Writers need to be supported and encouraged and just giving them a thumbs down is not how to encourage or lead to new writers joining this platform.

How do you rate this article?
