Jesus Christ The Hero

Christian,

You do not need courage.  You need knowledge.  Knowledge that saves because of Who gives us the knowledge.  Knowledge that saves because of Who purchased our lives.  Knowledge that saves because it enables us to believe and repent and embrace our sins no more because Jesus Christ has embraced us and enabled us to have the faith we have in Him.

The Bible is God's record of His written Word towards us, revealing Himself as the eternal Word which was, which is, and which always will be.  There are people who reason in various ways about why we should believe in God for thus and such, and then they will go on a rant about how man's reasoning is not sufficient for us to know God.  Yet, God sent His messengers to reason with the people:

13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
Isaiah 1.13-21

There in v.18.

16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah 1.16-18

Let us reason together, saith the Lord.

In particular, about what?  About sin.  About redemption.  About the swift certain destruction that sin has purchased for the people who claimed to follow God.  About those who will continue to refuse and rebel and disobey in the face of ardent clear warning after ardent clear warning from the mouth of God to repent.  Yet, it is written to those who will listen, trust, and obey.

In Genesis, God does not record that He warned anybody else except for Noah to save his family from the great flood that was about to come upon the whole Earth.  When I was little and in Sunday School, we learned that while Noah was building the ark, he was preaching to people to repent and was warning them of the flood to come, and that they laughed at him and mocked him and he continued to tell them to repent.  The Bible does not teach this, although it is a fair assumption, based on many other stories in the Bible.

The Bible tells us that God intended to destroy the entire Earth with all its inhabitants except for Noah and Noah's small family and a whole lot of animals.  There was no room for escape for anybody but Noah, whom God counted perfect in his generation.

When the Israelites were being rescued by God out of the grip of the Egyptian Pharoah, God gave the order to put the blood of the lamb upon the doorposts of their houses, because He was going to slay the firstborn of every household that did not obey.  There was no wiggle room.

Every Old Testament Bible story of darkness clashing with light and the redemption of the children of God throughout it all points towards Jesus Christ the Lamb, the Messiah Who is the Hero of all generations, by His sacrifice upon a hill known as Skull Hill, Golgotha.  This Jesus Christ informed us of the way to live, and it is through Him and Him alone.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14.6

Every person who has been covered by the blood of Jesus Christ is going to be blessed within five months, or about 135 days, give or take 15.  All Hallows' Eve this year is going to be renown.  God is pouring out His Holy Spirit and we are witnessing the beginning of Maranatha Jubilee, the Day of the Lord is upon us, which is roughly 7-8 years long, described as an hour, or perhaps a millenia, depending on your perspective.

The word blood is mentioned throughout the Bible, and in the New Testament, Hebrews and Revelation mention the word blood the most.  In chapter 11 of Revelation, we are told that the world's waters turn to blood.  Those who have faith in Jesus Christ will find that He has provided for them to provide for others, and that He will be eternally faithful as our very bread and water of life.

Are you covered in the blood of Jesus Christ?  Do you know what it is He said that we must believe?  You should know, and you can only know by hearing or reading His written words, and by believing Him and by believing in Him, and by living in Him and Him living in you in His Holy Spirit.

The KJV and ESV are fair versions of the Word, but there are many more bad corrupted imposter versions which are not the authentically translated Word of God.  You don't need to be a scholar or entirely totally understand it all at once, but you need to hear what Jesus says and believe it like a little child will believe their loving father.

9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

12 And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 1.9-15

Jesus Christ is Lord! This ministry is blessed by God to observe and report what is real and happening around us today, and to share God's Word among the nations, and to share the rest and contentment which comes from knowing Jesus Christ. ~ Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Psalm 127.1-2
