The Monsters of Loneliness

Please don’t go.

I beg you to stay.

These monsters here,

Are not exactly gay.

It is not nice how they play.

My walls full of color are now filled with gray.

What can I do to make you stay?

To keep the monsters at bay?

Even for just a day?

No, don’t leave!

Please just stay!

Please hold me.

Don’t let these monsters glare at me coldly.

I swear no not today!

What must I pay?

What is the price?

The cost to no longer feel lonely?
