For Charged Particles, as a community-focused / self-funded project we LOVE the Gitcoin Grants rounds and this has driven the lion-share of our funding received thus far.
What's more - Projects like BADGER DAO have publicly announced they'll be airdropping $BADGER tokens to all Gitcoin Grant #GR8 donors. Really cool and an added incentive to get involved.
What is Gitcoin Grants?
From their website: Gitcoin Grants is an experiment where people can fund their open source projects for public benefit with QF (Quadratic Funding) matching contributions from Gitcoin’s QF Fund sponsored by donors in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Gitcoin, with the support of the Ethereum Foundation and other matching partners — to run at least quarterly rounds in 2020, with a planned 4 QF rounds. The hope is the regularly scheduled rounds will help grantees use these funds not only as additional donations, but as a strong source of funding for their operations in the Ethereum community. A rough schedule for the rest of the year is below.
Round 5: March 23th — April 7th 2020
Round 6: June 15th — June 29th 2020
Round 7: September 14th — September 28th 2020
Round 8: December 2nd — December 17th 2020
