What comes after digital art and NFTs?

Here goes the list of What comes after Digital Art and NFTs : -

1- Programmable Art : -

Art that changes or evolves over time based on certain algorithms or external data inputs.

Example : -  A digital painting that evolves over time based on real-time weather data or social media trends, creating a continuously transforming visual experience, i.e NFTs.

2- AI-Generated Art : -

Art created autonomously by artificial intelligence systems, producing unique and context-aware pieces.

Example: AI like OpenAI's DALL-E generating original artwork based on complex prompts, resulting in pieces that reflect intricate themes and styles without human intervention.

3- Immersive Art Experiences : -

 Use of virtual and augmented reality to create interactive art installations like 3D world's, Facebook Metaverse, etc... .

Example: An AR app that allows users to step into a famous painting like Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and explore it in 3D, experiencing the artwork from different perspectives and interacting with elements within it.

4- Holographic Art : -

Three-dimensional art displays that do not require special glasses and can be viewed from multiple angles. Same above like 3d world.

Example: Holographic projections in public spaces where artists display 3D sculptures or interactive installations that can be viewed from different angles and interacted with in real-time.

5- Bio-Art : -

Art created using biological materials and living organisms.

Example: Eduardo Kac's "GFP Bunny," a genetically modified rabbit that glows green under specific lighting, combining genetic engineering with artistic expression.

6-  Quantum Art : -

Art that leverages quantum computing and quantum Physics principles to exist in multiple states simultaneously.

Example: An interactive quantum art installation where the viewer's choices affect the state of the artwork, creating different outcomes each time it is viewed, akin to Schrödinger's cat concept in quantum mechanics.

7-  Blockchain-Integrated Interactive Art : -

Artworks that not only exist as NFTs but also respond to blockchain transactions or smart contracts.

Example: An NFT that changes its visual appearance or unlocks new content based on specific conditions met within the blockchain, such as the number of times it has been traded or the holders' activities. I didn't see any NFT till now in my research done earlier.

8- Temporal Art : -

Art that exists for a specific duration or changes over time.

Example: Digital installations that display a different image or animation each day, or artworks that degrade and change form over a predefined period, creating a sense of ephemerality and uniqueness for each viewing.

9- Virtual Museums and Galleries : -

Fully virtual spaces where art can be displayed, bought, and interacted with, like 3D virtual Galaries.

Example: A metaverse art gallery like Decentraland where users can navigate a virtual space, view digital art, and purchase pieces directly within the platform using cryptocurrency.

10- Neuro-Art : -

Art that interacts with and responds to the neural activity of the viewer. 

Example: A digital installation that changes colors, shapes, or patterns based on the brain waves detected through a wearable EEG device, providing a personalized art experience that reflects the viewer's mental state and emotions in real-time. Meta Company is already working on this type of technology for actions.
