I have chosen to share this sound generator (Links to an external site.) that is so very adaptive to many and any situations. I chose this tool because I use it much more while "working" than one would expect from such a "relaxing" product.
Besides as a standalone mediation soundtrack, I typically use it while writing words or needing to think silently, and can interchange this tool with the "lo-fi beats to study to" playlist or any non-verbal music or soundscape as well.
I refer to this as a tool not just for the therapeutic benefits of adding to the auditory dimension of the senses during meditative practices, ambient sound creation, or even astral projections, but also for the benefit you bring to your brain when you incorporate sound into your learning.
This abstract (Links to an external site.) references the idea I am talking about, that while working logically, critically, and under stress, our brains (or rather the other half) could use it's proper fill of some good music, or pleasant rain sound, or birds chirping.
The effects are not clashing and distracting, but rather incorporating a music or meditation "break" (with some pleasant audio stimulus) helps your (two-halved) brain "resync" and could actually speed up your workflow, unclog some mental fog, or even just rejuvenate your momentum.
This works even better with learning or playing your instruments, taking a 15 minute break to challenge your mind in a different way is like stretching or staying loose while working our bodies out!
