U.S. footwear giant Nike partnership with London-based fintech firm Plutus letting customers to earn up to 3% from online shopping with crypto.
The partnership adds to Plutus’ blooming list of major brand partners, following in the steps of Airbnb and Skyscanner.the partnership will allow Plutus users of Premium accounts to earn up to 3% of rewards in cryptocurrencies for their purchases at Nike online stores. Users will receive their rewards on the financial app’s Ethereum-based token, called PLU. This offer is appealing for both crypto and fiat users, and Plutus is looking to build off its strong momentum with the Nike partnership moving into the latter half of 2020.
Nike has also participated in a blockchain-based supply chain pilot backed by Alabama’s Auburn University.
