Publish0x Removed the Lado Okhotnikov Post and They Made the Right Call

For those who missed it: the Publish0x PR section recently ran a sponsored piece titled "Who Is Lado Okhotnikov" that painted him as a visionary behind a sprawling metaverse-health-tech ecosystem. The problem? The answer to the question of Who is Lado Okhotnikov is that, he is a known scammer (SEC fraud case LR-25460)  who ran forsage pyramid scam. The article made sweeping claims about “DNA avatars” and personalized medicine with zero evidence, raising real concerns about platform responsibility.

I appreciate that Publish0x took action and removed the post after I raised concerns. Giving promotional space to individuals with documented legal issues only blurs the line between innovation and exploitation. It is good to see the editorial team draw that line when it matters. Responsible moderation like this helps keep the crypto space a little more grounded.

P.S: Major outlets like The Jerusalem Post and MSN have also published glowing PR pieces about Lado Okhotnikov filled with generic visionary talk, vague claims about metaverses, health tech, and whatever DNA avatar is. Anyone who’s worked in content or crypto PR can see this for what it is: a coordinated media campaign. I have worked in this space myself, and I know how these pieces get commissioned, written, and placed. The bylines are usually fake or borrowed, and the actual copy often comes from low-cost PR writers hired to churn out uncritical praise without fact-checking.
