First of all, I had no idea Futurama was still a thing. I didn't know it was still on. But it is.

There are new episodes, and the first one focuses around the concept of NFTs, obviously and predictably (and ironically) highlighting the contradictions of the NFT world.

In the first few minutes of the episode, the team discovered the potential of NFTs thanks to the huge success of the 'Apathetic Fish Society', which is clearly a parody of the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

By the way, I still haven't checked whether someone created an Apathetic Fish Society NFT collection, or a memecoin, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Inspired by this, they create NFTs based on different images of Bender.

I don't wanna spoil what happens in the episode, but it's worth a watch.
