The scammy reason why "0.3 ETH" is trending on X

If you're on X right now, this very minute, you may have noticed that the search term '0.3 ETH' is trending in the US with over 5,000 posts.

There's a scammy reason behind this trend, unfortunately. Are we surprised?

Several accounts have been copy-pasting the same message, sometimes reposting other content, sometimes mentioning ChatGPT, sometimes sharing YouTube videos.

The message reads: "That's a prretty bold strategy for making extra money this year! I was pretty surprised when I got my 0.3 ETH after setting this up. Now I've grown my portfolio with that toool! You can check out my channel for more information."

Word for word, over 5,000 times across 5,000 different accounts.

This kick-started another problem, because some people check the 'trending' list, and use whatever search term is trending to boost their profile.

Girls with OnlyFans accounts do this a lot, so you can presumably expect pictures of that type with a caption like "0.3 ETH or me in bed with you?" - that sort of bulls**t.

I really wish there was a solution to get rid, once and for all, for scams, spams and bots. But clearly there isn't one. Or at least we haven't found one.
