The OpenSea Foundation confirmed that an OpenSea token airdrop is coming.

They made the announcement with a post.

The foundation did not specific the timing, but they did confirm that the new token, SEA, will launch soon, and it will be available to users in different countries including the US.

OpenSea said "historical usage of the platform will be an important ingredient".

The CEO Devin Finzer also said the platform is being rebuilt to revamp it.

Admirable, and hopefully not fruitless, but the truth is OpenSea isn't the hottest platform in the market because NFTs are past their prime, and it looks like there won't be a new one.
